Because Lance Wyman was such an iconic way finder, known for his work with inline typography and environmental graphics for the 1968 Mexico Olympics, the event is geared towards finding your way in the design world, using motifs that resemble a highway.

Finding Your Way With Lance Wyman
Finding Your Way with Lance Wyman is a conceptual event designed to give young designers a rare opportunity to hear from one of the masters of way finding about navigating unique paths in design.
For this event, I developed a promotional poster, an Hermès-style silk scarf for VIP guests, a lanyard design, and signage outside the Trustees Theater to create a cohesive visual identity. Inspired by Wyman’s iconic 1968 Mexico Olympics typography, I designed custom inline lettering that flows seamlessly into patterns inspired by a highway, reinforcing the event’s theme of “finding your way.”
