Named after an exclamation of discovery, Eureka products give customers that lightbulb moment in their times of need. Producing every lighting solution, from desk lamps to glowsticks, Eureka has been a trusted source for light for over ten years, providing warmth to homes across the globe.
In order to mimic the light of a flame, each package has a gradient from blue at the bottom, to purple, then orange, then yellow, then bright white. Also similarly to the heart of a flame, the typography and illustration is a bright white, which pops out from the background in the form of fine-line illustrations of the products, as well as white silhouettes with off-shooting beams of light represented by small white dots. The logo, as well, utilizes white dots in varying sizes to represent light. This is because a vanity or neon sign often has circular lights surrounding themselves, and also because light can be made of particles.
The collection of Eureka products includes a desk lamp, a book light, a matchbox, glow sticks, tea lights, a flashlight, and a lightbulb. Although each product shares a graphic palette, they all ahve unique shapes. The lightbulb, book light, and glow sticks are in varying dimensions of a rectangular box, while the other four packages consist of more complicated shapes. The matchbox has a piece that slides out. The lightbulb has a unique, geometric bulb-shaped box. The tea lights come in a set of nine in a box that is the shape of a triangular prism. Finally, the desk lamp sticks out of the top of its larger box, and stands out as the largest product in the collection.
Although the bulk of the typography and imagery is in white, the logo appears in blue on the bright white ground of most pieces in the collection, as the contrast is lovely and eye-catching. Overall, these products would stand out like a sunset on the shelves of any shop, with their unified appearance and unusual color palette for products in this category.
